Cupra
Mid-size electric coupe-SUV
From $55,490 plus on-road costs
The Tavascan is Cupra's first all-electric SUV, built on the Volkswagen Group MEB platform shared with the VW ID.5, Skoda Enyaq Coupe and Audi Q4 e-tron Sportback.
We haven't driven the Tavascan yet. On paper, V2 is the sweet spot for daily buyers, Endurance is the answer if you need the range, VZ is the one to drive. The 135 kW DC peak is the genuine weakness in the segment.
Style-led buyers drawn to the copper accents and coupe roofline, VZ hot-hatch graduates wanting the 250 kW AWD and DCC adaptive damping, long-distance EV buyers picking the Endurance 523 km WLTP, and families of four wanting a 540 L boot.
