Premium electric SUV
From $129,700 plus on-road costs
The Macan Electric is the second generation Macan, and the first Porsche built on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) co-developed with Audi.
We haven't driven the Macan Electric yet. On paper, the Macan 4 is the sweet spot for range and price. Most buyers will be better served by it than the Turbo. If badge doesn't matter, the platform mate Audi Q6 e-tron offers similar bones for less money.
Driving enthusiasts who want a real Porsche chassis with an EV powertrain, 800V early adopters chasing 270 kW DC charging, EV tow buyers wanting up to 2,500 kg braked on the Turbo, and luxury daily commuters wanting up to 641 km WLTP with an AR head-up display.

Look at the alternatives if you want a longer factory warranty (most premium EV rivals offer 5 years), more rear seat room (Audi Q6 e-tron is roomier on the same platform), or you would rather buy the platform mate for less (Q6 e-tron starts under the Macan 4).
Pricing opens at $129,700 plus on-roads for the Macan and tops out at $187,500 plus on-roads for the Macan Turbo, across 5 variants. Prices checked October 2026, so confirm with a dealer.

The Macan Electric is the second generation Macan, and the first Porsche built on the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) co-developed with Audi. The petrol Macan has now retired globally, leaving the Electric as the only Macan you can buy new in Australia. PPE is an 800V architecture, delivering 270 kW peak DC charging and a 10 to 80 percent top-up in about 21 minutes. Five grades on one 95 kWh net battery, from $129,700 to $187,500 plus on-roads.
